  Croton River and Croton Point

The Norwalk Islands are located approximately one mile off shore and provide excellent sightseeing, bird watching, wind sheltered and, open-water paddling opportunities.

Along the south shore of Saugatuck Connecticut, in the Long Island Sound are approximately 23 Islands that comprise the Norwalk Islands.  Many of these islands are privately owned, some are part of the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge (Chimon and Sheffield) and have restricted access and some are owned by the City of Norwalk (Shea and Grassy Island) and are open to the public.
