Masters Series
with
Ben Lawry
The River Connection is once again offering Masters Series programs with Ben Lawry. For those that are unfamiliar with Ben: he has numerous credentials, from both the American Canoe Association (ACA) and the British Canoe Union (BCU) and; he also has competed in every major paddling competition of note -- from sea kayak racing, to surf and white water. Whats more is that he has either won or been a finalist in most of these competitions.
Ben is known to most of the paddling community for his dry-land rolling teaching technique and forward paddling stroke clinics that have beem offered throughout much of the United States and abroad.
Considering that over 99% of your time is spent paddling forward, having an efficient, correct forward stroke with correct body mechanics is a must for most paddlers. This three hour course will introduce you to proper body mechanics and paddling style to keep you paddling for hours at a time with ease and grace.
Instructional Programs featuring Ben will include two specialty courses: Forward Stroke Clinic and a Dry Land Rolling; and a paddle junkie favorite, Paddle with Ben.

This is a great opportunity for those that attend the morning Forward Stroke Clinic with Ben to take your newly learned skill set on the road, well, river. Plan on this afternoon Paddle with Ben to hone and fine-tune your more efficient Forward Stroke.
For those that cannot attend the morning clinic, we offer this as an opportunity to meet and paddle with Ben. The format is more of a Paddle and not intended to replace the more formal instruction offered in the morning course, so plan accordingly.
